Crunchyroll world
Crunchyroll is a streaming platform, but it does not just end there. Over the years, the Crunchyroll world has expanded and created a whole new user experience that trespasses the screen. Here are some of the additions they have developed to take the Crunchyroll community to a new level:
- Crunchyroll Expo: This event was launched for the first time in 2017 as a convention focused on anime. Since then, the Expo has been repeated yearly and even expanded to countries other than the USA.
- Crunchyroll Anime Awards: These awards started in 2017 and have been held yearly ever since. For the event, 20 judges selected by Crunchyroll curate lists of nominees for different categories, which are then released to the public, who provide their votes online to choose the winners.
- News and announcements page: On the Crunchyroll website you will find a page dedicated to news and announcements related to the world of anime. Among the articles, you will find information related to new releases, interviews, upcoming events, and even quizzes.
- Online shop: Their website even includes an online shop, where you can purchase figures, accessories, home entertainment series on DVD and Blu-ray, manga and books, and even decor for your home!
Device compatibility
Crunchyroll is available worldwide and allows you to stream on a wide variety of devices. You can watch your favorite shows on your Smart TV, Playstation, Xbox, Chromecast, Apple TV, and mobile device (both with iOS and Android operating systems).
